The Tyrannosaurus Rex
The tyrannosaurus was a huge carnivore that could grow up to fourteen meters in length and weigh eight tons. It walked on strong, high hind legs, with its broad, horizontal trunk balanced by a short, heavy tail. The front legs were very small. It attacked prey with a large and heavy head, equipped with long teeth and heavy muscles, the jaws could exert enormous biting force. The tyrannosaurus hunted large herbivorous dinosaurs, some of which, like the Triceratops and Ankylosaurus, managed to defend themselves well and had to be quickly eliminated with a few powerful bites.
